Our commitment
We believe everyone should be able to find heating and cooling help and get in touch with us easily. Conformance standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA — the widely recognized standard for web accessibility — and to align with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). WCAG defines three levels of conformance (A, AA, and AAA); we target Level AA. Because we regularly add and update content, some areas may not yet fully conform, and we work to identify and correct issues as part of our ongoing effort.
Measures we take
As we build and maintain this website, we work to:
- Use semantic HTML and clear document structure (headings, landmarks, and lists) so content can be navigated with assistive technology;
- Provide meaningful text alternatives (alt text) for informative images, and mark purely decorative images so screen readers can skip them;
- Support keyboard operation, with a logical focus order and a visible focus indicator on interactive elements;
- Aim for color contrast that meets WCAG AA for text and user-interface components;
- Use responsive layouts so content reflows and text can be resized without loss of function;
- Respect the "reduced motion" setting in your operating system to limit non-essential animation;
- Use descriptive link text and clearly labeled form fields.
We review accessibility as part of how we build and update the site, and we continue to improve it over time.
Known limitations and third-party content
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. In particular, third-party content and embedded tools that we do not fully control — such as maps, embedded videos, financing portals, review widgets, and downloadable documents (for example, PDFs) — may not meet the same standard. We work to choose accessible third-party tools and to offer an accessible alternative where we can.
